The death of 40m

Got home today and found this (se pic. below) in the stairwell - the wrapping from a Panasonic 50" Plasma. My first thought was "Oh so thats why I hear absolutely NOTHING on 40m?!"

A funny thing is that one of the articles in the latest club-magazine QTC Amatörradio nr5 is about QRM from plasma-TVs - impossible to get rid of (transl. "Störningar från plasma-TV - Omöjligt att bli av med"). According to the article the only thing to do is to change the plasma into an LCD-tv instead.

So... here are my plans.
1) Knock on my neighbors door and ask them to return their plasma and change it into an LCD so that I can work the 40m-band.

2) Sneak/break in to my neighbors apartment, steal their plasma, change it myself and then return with the new LCD so that I can work the 40m-band.

3) Drill a hole in my ceiling/their floor just where the plasma is placed, change it to an LCD and then put it back in place up through the hole and then I can work the 40m-band.

4) Place a carrier so that the plasma breaks and then when they make a complaint to the salesman I have already told them that "LCD is much better than plasma, plasmas only break" so that they ask for an LCD instead so that I can work the 40m-band.

maby I have a 5th plan in case none of these work out but the goal in each of them is to make my neighbors understand that their plasma is a QRM-machine and I can't work the 40m-band.

Meet mr Death-to-40m
